Thats a valid point, I had been privy to seeing some fairly large checks go out his way (to AFF that is) for work he was apparently responsible for. I think he is one of the nicer people on the board as well.
Kind of hard for me to beat on him here as I've rarely seen him on anyones case. Not saying you are Lars
Put it this way, there is another guy in this industry that litterally makes a guaranteed 8 digits a year, and if I'm wrong I'll hang out with Boy Alley for 5 minutes.... well, lets not go that far. Anyway this "guy" that makes the big bucks is someone I have bumped into numerous times at shows, more notably at the silvercash dinner at the steakhouse in vegas a few years back.
He was one of the nicest guys I had ever met, smart, funny, easy to talk to, you name it, and for my point in this thread, RICH BEYOND BELIEF.
One problem, he was so damn cheap. I mean really cheap. Like split the cabfare back to the hotel cheap. Its just in some people's nature. More likely than not, he grew up very poor and squeezes ever penny until "abe" screams.
