I have had a few other people tell me that ICQ has been fukked for them for about a week now too (not receiving some messages, disconnecting frequently ...)

What is the best alternative to ICQ ??
I don't know if AIM is better or not but it's an alternative to ICQ. You handled this situation nicely. Kudos.
