I am glad to hear that I am not the only one having issues with ICQ ... I have used it since day one ... my first UIN was 106977 ... and have NEVER had as much problems with it as I have in the past weeks ...
I am going to clean my contact list up later today, and reinstall it fresh ... at least then I will KNOW that it is not a problem local to my machine then ...
