They did ok? They could still be in power if they had
a modicum of a sense of their military capabilities in comparison to that of the USA. They were offered a chance and somehow came to the conclusion that fighting the US was better than extraditing Bin Laden.

Like they had any options? Turn over Bin Laden and get their asses taken over by the cronies he left behind. Or let the Americans bomb the shit out of them. Either way, they were gonna lose. AND they still had to continue to fight their fight against the Northern Alliance at the same time.

Now you tell me, what options did they have. And dont use some Carthage example.
