nope, my ipod is a windows ipod and set to act as an external hard drive...I don't even use Itunes, I use XPlay
someone said it has something to do with the hard drive going bad, cause usually when it does it, it has not touched a computer in week. I only update new music on it every 2 weeks or so
last time it did it I had it turned off for 2 days, then went back everything was gone
