But how will your hosting company, their upstream bandwith providers, your billing processors and your sponsors know those "terms" weren't added after you collected someones email address. Unless it's double opt in, you could get canned although many sponsors are pretty damn lenient about it.

I personally believe some of those "click here to remove" links on spam are actually a link "confirming" you to another list so that they can "prove" with your ip, etc.. that you "opted in"

In the mornings before I've had enough coffee I'll report spammers and stop at nothing searching links looking for people to report them too. After a few cups, I just start deleting them.

But either way, I never buy from them.
If I have to "play by the rules" I'm not going to support someone who doesn't.
