I think what seperates them is this sentence "in the belief that they have an influence on the course of natural earthly occurrences and human affairs."
Besides the fact that astrology is based on a geocentric universe (earth is the center of the universe). Which is not true. Therefore, everything based on this fact is not true. Since everything in astrology is based on this fact, everything in astrology is not true.

It's sad, really.
