Thus the Pope became Adolf's silent partner and Germany, which was predominantly Catholic, was allowed to continue their march to genocide.
The late Pope Paul did formally apologize to the Jews in the 90's.
What kind of apology can you possibly give to millions of people and their families and adequately say that you profited greatly financially from their deaths but were really sorry that you didn't have the courage of your convictions or religious teachings to be able to stand up and make your voice heard?
How about apologizing to the Muslims for all the Crusades?
What about the Inquisitions and tortures of their own people?
Any apologies to the Aztecs or the Incas?
