um...there are thousands of example of words that are inappropriate in every day language because they are degrading to others, nig ger just happens to be one of the worst ones.
the word slut and whore being a negative term isn't really an opinion that only I share man, it is a pretty common opinion that is shared by anyone with at least a gram of respect for others
