Anti-soccer people? Some people just don't like soccer. It isn't about popularity, it isn't about winning, it's just the plain and simple fact that it's just not that popular of a sport in the USA. Who cares? lol, I certainly don't.
And to follow it by saying that soccer can't compare to any other sport, well that's just nonsense...any sport that a person takes pleasure in is important to them. I don't care if they're a curling fanatic, that's cool, as I said earlier, to each his own and whatever floats your boat.
I do agree, that funforone definitely let his patriotism set sail, but the whole thread is pretty silly to begin with don't you agree? So what if the US doesn't like soccer? Who really cares? Why even start a thread about it other than to get a little rise out of the topic.
So, I agree with you a bit, I also think you kind of overlooked the ridiculous nature of the topic in the first place and that the USA was the topic of it. God knows why anyone gives a rats ass if the USA doesn't like soccer, lol
