Not to mention that homes built in the last half century come with Central AC. You are essentially asking engineers to take a step back and invent something that is several technology cycles old.
Beleive it or not, Smaller air conditioners are actually in use in our society. Its new technology, but refridgerators and cars use technology to control the temperature of the air.
Again, another free lesson for Greg B. I have to stop giving these away free.

Well great shades of Phineas J. Whoopee! Where's your 3D Blackboard Einstein?
Somehow you extrapolated some irrational bullshit and tried to turn it into some form of invalidation and it's now a useless testament to your throwback logic.
We need smaller units as some of us go camping or work in small out of the way places where a large ass air conditioner is inconvenient and energy inefficient. Oh, but wait, I'm asking WESTERN people who had to have Japan practically run over their car engineering market to make them act efficiently. I'll bet if I surf the Japanese sites I'll find small air conditioners that can be modified.
Take your free lessons and go back to drawing on your cave walls asshat retard.
