if your anxiety is caused by shit stressing you out in life, it is not panic disorder (seritonin problem) it is just anxiety attacks and i would recommend just from my experience NOT taking meds.
im guessing your anxiety attacks are like feeling like you are / thinking you are having heart attacks, short of breath, etc ...
you are lucky if it is due to 'life-related' problems and not a medical condition ...
1. go to the doctor get full checkup so next time you have an attack you can tell yourself in the mirror "hey fucko - you just had a full checkup, there is nothing medically wrong with you - breathe deep and relax"
2. when you are calm make a plan to reduce the stress thats causing the attax, and more importantly, DO IT ... this may involve dumping people out of your life, maybe big changes, maybe just small changes (for me, a large weight was lifted off my shoulders from just letting go of some anger i was holding on to from the past, so i decided to always try to look forward) - i dont know what the problem is, but you cant let life drag you down the toilet its too damn short.

4. the meds can help short term if you cannot deal - but i wish i didnt need them. paxil causes decreased libido ... theres a (relatively) new snri that is supposed to be better with the no-jizz syndrome, umm - i think the drug is buproprion i forget brand name. of course benzo's kill the attack but do not solve any root problems.
if youre doing blow / ex .. that shit fucks with your seratonin, amplifies it, then the next days there is none and thats why you feel like dog shit after partying. stay away from that shit in case you do it.
basically your body is bullshitting your brain, your brain is bullshitting your body, you gotta have a talk with both of them and straighten the problem out.
