the metallic taste went away for me after a few months.
unfortunately, so did the desired effect of putting me to sleep.
same thing happened to me with ambien after a month or two, it stopped working.
i'm trying this new one now, rosarem, and it doesn't seem to be doing anything at all.
i hate not being able to sleep, but the few months that lunesta worked for me....it was sweeeeeeet
