One last note on why it probably didn't detect your card...you need to go to system administration and see whether you xp default was set on drive c or d....if it was c, then it probably would not recognize your drive as once you make something NTFS, that is the end of the game....FAT32 becomes brainless and can't do anything with the files....they have become essentially NT files, which is a good thing. I run all LAN stuff on NTFS, more security, more stability and better peformance.
