I have MAYBE a 15% flake rate on interviews and test shoots and way less than that on paid shoots.

I don't use agents and as of 2 weeks ago I stopped advertising in the local papers. I recruit them personally, online, or they are referred by other models these days. I've found that models who reply to print ads or who come from agents are more likely to flake than others.

When I do get a flake, it happens with a few girls at once. I haven't had a girl flake on me for a couple of months and all of a sudden I have had 2 this week.

Incidentally...I rarely book more than 2 days ahead of time and the girls that flaked were booked prior to the holiday weekend. One of them called me to reschedule and the other has changed her mind about modeling.
