I DON'T think it's so much that the media has gone right-wing.

I think that what was once called "journalistic integrity" has been sold to the high bidder.

On the other side of the coin, you have what I would call a "Reportage of Bias and Exaggeration". This is guys like Michael Moore, who destroy valid arguments, and destroy what could be a compelling revelation of fact, because they have chips on their shoulders and take license to make shit up and play other dirty tricks.
