it is kind of like that whole "sorry if I said that, I was drunk and didn't mean it" response...yeah, you meant it, but you had the veil of being drunk to make up for the fact that you are too shy/nice to say it without alcohol in your system

gfy is like being drunk, a lot of people say stupid shit and use the "it's a board" excuse to get away with it, but fact remains you would have not said it if you weren't thinking it or meant it.
