It'll never happen so don't worry about it. We need china for cheap manufactured goods and they need us to sell everything Made In China. China also has a huge amount of money invested in US financial markets.

Plus if push every came to shove, the Russians wouldn't want the US taken out and all our power shifted to the Chinese. Its a nice balancing act that none of the 3 want changed.
