China is actually an OK place - they have come a long way and have developed pretty good relationships globally, both on trade and other stuff.

It's highly doubtful come crunch time, that they would ally with NK on any attack - they are far more sane than any NK leadership and it is definately not in their interests to engage in any nuclear activity. (Is it in any countries interests? - Hell no)
