Uh, they don't have to get these numbers from the census. They get them from thousands of different sources, most notably the sheer number of illegals that are 'caught and released', the huge number that are caught at the border and turned back into Mexico. The numbers are staggering really, at least seven million immigrants (and no, not all mexicans) are in the United States illegally, a number that many critics say is far to low of a number and gauge it more realistically to be twelve to twenty million illegals.
Also, the CNN article that this thread pointed to doesn't say anything about Europeans moving to America, just that the USA is gaining around 2.8 million people. It doesn't cite where said people are coming from. Sure some of them are logically moving to America, but that's not what the CNN article was about. It was mainly about how the industrialized nations of the world are going to be in a serious situation within the next fifty years if women don't start having more kids. Looks like we may have a use for mexican women after all
