I was gonna address that too but forgot. Yeah, totally.. public face and attention whorism is more of the marketing side I guess. It really doesn't have a whole lot to do with affiliate care, improving the program, or business agreements or trades.
Also, come companies think it's better to have a whole bunch of reps instead of a few high qualified experienced ones. I think that causes more bickering and fighting over accounts and in reality, it costs the company more money. A bunch of unhappy underpaid people are not more productive than a couple high paid, respected, hard working people with $$$ Motivation $$$
But also, some programs have 500 affiliates while others have thousands. That makes a big difference as well.
