Then the weekly, "how come you haven't reciprocated yet?" emails.
I imagine he gets tired of that crap too. If he isn't soliciting the business, does he really have an obligation to respond to everyone?
Myabe he should just set up an auto responder with a form letter saying "not interested." Would that make you feel better?

You can just pre-write an email you will send to everybody explaining the situation instead of ignoring them. One day one of theses dude might become big .
