If you are considering leaving, it is doubtful that the only reason for such consideration is due to "unfinished screenplays."
It is likely due more to your yearning to accomplish things on a more creative level all together.
Accomplishing things of passion takes guts. Most people would never leave their day job, they don't have the guts.
Get in your car, drive south down the coast and leave what doesn't change behind you.
Things which do not change always tend to be there anyways.
