a story ...

I was working in the videogames industry, and in 2003, I went to E3 (Electronics Entertainment Expo)... I travelled from London, to LA, and stayed for a week. At the end of the week, myself and my business partner were late back to LAX for our flight. They'd apparently closed the gate!!! Well, I was seeeething. I argued with the flight people and they wouldn't budge. Previous to me arguing, a few others had been turned away.. had to wait til the next day for the next flight...

Well, lo and behold as I was arguing, there walking up beside me was David Hasslehoff. He asked to get on the Virgin Airways flight as he was late ... fuck... that was MY flight... the fucking asshole attendants let him in without a moment's notice. So I said to the attendant "how the hell can you let David Hasslehoff on board, when the gate's are closed... but not us?" .... the attentant asked me to kindly step through :D

So, I walked through and got checked in next to David Hasslehoff. But you know what... ? I didn't hassle the hoff, because we were all late.

I thank David every day for that :D
