I agree a hundred fucking percent. He saw the sentence coming and cut a deal with the feds. They fake his death, cart him off to a safe house, give him plastic surgery and he emerges with his ill gotten gains.

It must be good to be an evil villain nowadays. In the old days you just had fumbling henchmen and secret hideouts with floors that were tilted and that one hanging light in the middle of the room where superhero sidekicks could swing from and kick your henchmen in the face.
