Someone accused me earlier of spinning this thread from 'rich bashing' to defense of the disabled.
Now tell me this - raise your hand if you've never said to someone (or yourself), "I can't stand the arrogant and impudent mentality of people who drive (insert car model here)." No? Chances are I'd label you a liar. Anyone who's occupied space on this planet for a length of time can't help but notice certain types of cars attract certain types of people. Not always, but enough that it becomes a noticeable trend.
First of all - owning a fucking Jag is hardly "rich". I have two vehicles in the driveway that add up to the cost of a Jaguar.
Yesterday, when I ticketed and called for a tow of this Jag...it was after watching the guy pull in to a handicap spot - get out of his vehicle, and walk (quite able-bodied) in to a travel agency. He was well-dressed in his finest golfing attire and had that incredibly pampered and coiffed look about him, right down to his $300 italian shoes.
He didn't give a second thought to where he left his car. He was 'entitled' to it, after all.
I did my job, along with taking some self-satisfaction in it.
Anyone who wouldn't do the same within the parameters of the job...is either an asshole, disillusioned or equally selfish and self-serving.
To all the haters - fuck you, too. You're either part of the problem...or the solution.
