That's actually beleive it or not the only reason for them to be fucked.
Here's a bit of real truth for You:
They hated Russians almost always, it's a small muslim population located in Mountains.
It always used to be on the way of trading routes and lived for centuries by robbery.
In second world war (!), the one You're looking on in many Hollywood movies, there had been an accident called DEPORTATION which was the original reason why Chechens hate us SO MUCH and we hate them.
You see , Chechens , were THE ONLY guys on Russian territory who officially or non officially supported Hitler during world war 2.
As soon as it was over mr. Stalin in order to punish them for betrayal took ALL chechens in Moscow and Russia I beleive and placed them on trains going to Chechnya - he simply DEPORTED all of them back to their motherland.
Half of them roughly didnt live through the deportation process and died on those trains because of horrible conditions.
50 years later roughly Soviet Union was falling. All previous parts of it were trying to become independent, which sounds very proud and cool and...look at what happened, most of now independent countries are twice more dependent than they were before and people there are 10 times more poor because the only thing this kind of independence reaches is that the newly elected government of the new independent country simply makes themselves rich with the help of state budget and that's the only TRUE reason of that independance

Now the only thing which could hold those countries together was...blood.
A lot of blood was spilled those days but someone had to suffer really and the problem was that You really cant punish for their government any innocent people.
By that time as You know there were a lot of organized crime in Russia. One of the strongest groups - were chechens.
And dont think that this was due to them being braver or anything. I saw them - just same motherfuckers as anyone else.
But they were far too cruel. Like those head cutting videos. Rest of old good terrorists kinda dont make those movies right? Cause they are going for what they need and nothing else. Same shit was with mafia. Rest of mafias just made bucks and nothing else, when Chechen mafia made bucks AND publicity.
And then that's what happened , basicly they fucked themselves - they were chosen as I understand to get fucked so the rest of Soviet Union stays united.
And the first war started....and NO ONE in Russia said a word against it, cause those Chechen motherfuckers already were too much of a pain in ass.
Do You remember how it ended? It ended when one of Chechens took as a hostage - a WHOLE fucking hospital with women there.
And as it always happens - world said , dont touch poor chechens.
That's what they always do, fucking motherfuckers. When they get fucked - they run around crying for help. All the same shit.
The world comes, says "dont touch people who fight for their freedom" and guess what...the shit continues.
Now the second war there is almost finished. There's no Chechnya.
They had a capital - Grozniy, nothing fucking left of it. Nothing left of nothing there. Fucking Wasteland.
I dont even understand who are those guys in Moscow and what do they want.
To my understanding there were no more chechen terrorists left.
