In parts of the South, it's starting to become what it was prior to the 60's, an institution. Southern politicians are being elected based on bigotry and that makes me sick.

Now, I never said I was a calm, level headed guy. Never. Nowhere. But do I say seriously that we're going to burn down all the cities of the south? Of course not. Those comments are clearly tongue in check. We already did that once, and they learned their lesson for the most part. I'm just reminding them of that lesson.

The reason I made this thread was to piss off the stupid racists who post on this board constantly. It worked. And they deserve it.
You can't make generalizations about a whole group of people, which more or less is the way you continue to argue the point. Now, I know NYC is great, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else and we're pretty accepting of race, religion, sex, etc, etc.

Now, the burning the south thing, if you said it in a non-general way like: I'd like to take all racists and burn down their house...pfft, who would care. But, you swung at a generalization and it pretty much made you demonize everyone in the south. Whether it's a joke or not, you insulted everyone in the south, and there's more to the south than rednecks, there's a lot of people that fight against racism or any other -ism, and you do a disservice to them by generalizing.

As for educating racists on the board...save the keystrokes because it won't do a damn thing...especially when you do it as poorly as you just did, lol.
