I don't give a fuck if you do have a young child ... a kitten's claws don't need to be taken out ... you can have them clipped back. That's enough. I have plenty of experience with this situation and you're fussing about nothing. Taking a kittens claws out will stop it being able to protect itself and hold on to certain surfaces.

Sure, clip them, but don't abuse them by taking out their claws. How would you like it if your nails were removed because they got to long?
