1Mbit billed on average method = ~330GB per month

If you get a capped 1Mbit line and manage to sustain your bandwidth right below capped level without going over... probably around 300GB. This is if you have VERY flat bandwidth and traffic patterns (NOT TGP postings).

95% means it polls your bandwidth every 5 minutes for the whole month and knocks out the top 5% of reading (kills spikes). In order words you are allowed to spike for 35 hours a month over your normal bandwidth level without paying more than expected.


For TGPs, do average billing
Paysites, do 95%.
Other types of steady traffic do capped.

You can also do capped if you push a lot of bandwidth (100+Mbits) and your patters are pretty constant.
