As for the picking on the weak. If a dictator is mistreating its people, then its the job of the people to band together for the greater good of overthowing that person.
I think maybe the underlying question is. If you do really shitty things to people, is there some kind of higher power punishment down the road.
Nobody knows. and if not, then people have an excuse to do bad things to everyone.
I think this is part of creation of religion. To control people.
