I have watched plenty of guys get girls wasted in a club and get nothing for it. Worst possible way of starting a conversation is offering a drink. It basically says I will pay for you to talk to me. You're fucked already. Getting a phone number at a club means she's got a new shopping buddy. If theyre at a club, they're looking to get laid that night, not when you call her later.
