Jordan played from 84-03 and never had a player that really compared to him... all of a sudden a kid by the name of Lebron James comes into the league and can arguably be known as the best ever when his career is over. I personally think he will. I know its hard for a lot of ppl to believe that but thats mainly because ppl want Lebron to fail, because Jordan is still fresh in our minds.
Lebron- 19-20 yrs old: 27-7-7
Jordan- 21-22 yrs old: 28-5-5

Clev.- before Lebron- 17-65, after Lebron 35-47 (18 game increase)
Bulls- before Jordan- 38-44, after Jordan 30-52 (8 game decrease)
Jordan still made the playoffs which meant the east was alot weaker than it is today and he still managed to only win 30 games.

Lebron is a better shooter , better rebounder, passer, stronger, bigger, taller, younger than when Jordan came into da leage(3yrs. younger) and the league is tougher now...
Guards are way better now than they were back then...
in the late 90s Eddie Jones made the all star game wit numbas of what? 17-4-4.. that at wont cut it anymore.. game has changed and competition is now tougher...

Stop comparing Lebron now to Jordans whole career... talkin bout Jordan has 6 rings.. he didnt get his 1st till his 7th season, when he was 28... Lebron has 8 yrs to jst win one.. and he will be even with Jordan.. 8 yrs.. i say he does it in 4-5 yrs... By the time Lebron and Jordan are both retired Lebron will known as the greatest ever.. I want who ever reads this comment to print it and save it so when my words which i guarantte does come true u can say "damn he wa right"
