The other thing is you have to give it time, you can't get a good guage of how you will do from 400 hits. Signups average out over time, if you are getting 400 hits a day i would look at your month average.

Never too late, its a great program, but you need to find the best way to use it, like anything else.

Right now i am sending about 15K uniques a day, wide mix of traffic, good and bad, and i track by first page loads, not clicked links or signup pages, and i average about 1:250 right now. The potential is more then there, don't give up, just keep playing with it till you get something working good.,
