(and not just because of recent events) - there will be considerable more controls in place, whether we like it or not. Some of these.. from whatever angle they hit - could, in effect, raise that "entry level" and force adjustment of some business models. Who knows?
And.. guessing again.... suspect there will be changes in "cash registers" (transaction processors), and some actual progress in the area of micro payments in particular - plus a more secure background for any client (webmaster) funds held by any processor. The days of "we promise we'll send you a check" have almost gone already.
