I think a lot of your marketing sense comes from remembering what it was like to be a consumer of porn. I certainly try to remember what it was like. One thing that does stick out in my mind is the sense of being a "collector" of porn. I remember spending whole afternoons trying to track down a specific model, in a specific scene. Or maybe you had a very clear picture in your head, and were looking for the best match -

In both cases, when you find it, there is a special feeling of gratification that makes you want to SAVE something, after you have initially enjoyed it. You want to collect it. Now, of course many collectors satisfy their needs among the oceans of free porn. These oceans are of course fed by yesterday's content. Things go stale, they become less "precious" and the distribution deals that are made resemble Guba --

So, if you are giving your paying customer fresh content at a very frequent rate, you are necessarily cheapening the value of whatever is withing the "member's area" at any given moment.

I wonder what the effects would be of preserving a specific, defined collection of material, striclty within the confines of a pay site, wrapped in a presentation "envelope" that does not allow for downlaod, but DOES allow for SATISFYING "collection building" on the site.
