Yep, or if you have a Cpanel server you can use the BoxTrapper software within the email config. Pretty similar to SpamArrest, just not third party.
The typical Bayesian filter approach stopped being effective for me a long time ago. Using either service to stop having to download 2k spam emails a day is very nice, almost like how email was intended.
