You don't live in the US, yet you comment on US politics all the time. It would be ignorant of me if I were to suggest you didn't know what you're talking about just because you don't reside here.
We can learn everything you can, right here in our homes. We can watch BBC, we can read your newspapers, among a wealth of other resources to learn about what's going on around us. There have been a lot of conservative type movements and big brother-like motions taking place in the UK as well.
Explain what's so damn necessary about having to live in the UK in order to be knowledgeable or able to comment on it? You act like it's a pre-requisite.

For christ sake calm down. As pointed out, I wasn't even the one to say it. Nor did I say that it wasn't possible to know about the UK without living here but what I DID say was that if the poster thinks this is still conservative Britian than they haven't been here in the last ten years. Firstly, it wasn't meant in a mean way - I very rarely post anything to be mean and if I did I would be clear that it was my intent. Secondly, you then go and ask me to explain my comment which I was going to do until I saw the link you posted which had NOTHING to do with this thread hence I asked what it had to do with the topic.
So, where was I being a bitch?
