You got pissy and suggested because someone doesn't LIVE in the UK, they can't possibly know anything about it. It was an ignorant comment.
You don't live in the US, yet you comment on US politics all the time. It would be ignorant of me if I were to suggest you didn't know what you're talking about just because you don't reside here.
We can learn everything you can, right here in our homes. We can watch BBC, we can read your newspapers, among a wealth of other resources to learn about what's going on around us. There have been a lot of conservative type movements and big brother-like motions taking place in the UK as well.
