to get a visa to Russia is f'ing pain in the neck... i guess they are trying to make it as hard as for Russians to get US/Canadian visa. I think the easiest way for you is to go through a travel agency specializing in arranging visas for Russia. just do a search on google.

Just fyi, Moscow is one of the most expensive cities in the world. So you'll spend an arm and a leg on your hotel and all your daily expenses... your trip will be as expensive as going to Japan.

But i think you are looking for thrill.

So go for it and enjoy it... but be careful.
