Of course it's not fiction. Anybody who's been in this business 5 years+ with a STEADY flow of traffic will have seen a small slowdown each year simply because people are either out in the nice weather, on holiday or a little skint from having blown it all on the holiday.

However, notice the part where I said 'small' slowdown. It isn't such a big thing and also bear in mind summer hasn't really started until all the kids are out of school as that's when the holidays really start to hit.

But then lots of things during the year can effect sales a little. Anyone with any business sense both knows that and to an extent ignore it. All businesses have peaks and troughs in sales and know to only compare like for like (ie the same period the previos year) to get a true indication of performance.
