I gave up on all that crap years ago - used to live in Florida (nice place - pity about the laws and govt), but saw it coming a long while back and moved out.
Since 9/11 suppose I'm doing the same as a lot of folks and avoiding going near the place - it's too much hassle even in transit.
Only had one "incident" tho - sent a friend some money (not much) and she got ... not sure if she was actually arrested, but was "detained" while collecting her child from school and questioned at length. I asked what kinda problem they had to detain her - replied, "I'm not playing their silly games - I'm not there for a discussion or interrogation". Basically said nothing and they quit the "interview". Ironically she is a govt law officer - but that was never disclosed - it was considered not on the need-to-know list and none of their biz
Who knows... but smell there may be more of "incidents" similar to Ray's - it's a prime time with elections on the horizon.
