Slow loading pages? What the hell? I've been using mozilla and then firefox since well before the fork, and it has always been perfectly responsive to me.
FF really is a superior browser, not only in features people use, but behind the scenes too. The mozilla renderer has been better than IE's for a long time now, as every designer on the planet can attest to. The plugin modularity is absolutely incredible. I don't know how I'd survive without the Web Developer plugin. In terms of security, while FF has had its share of exploits, it is significantly more secure in terms of numbers and severity of flaws. I've run machines with firefox for months without bothering to install spyware prevention tools, and haven't had a single problem. Just *try* that with IE. Go on, I dare you.
