#1- I think Communications companies such as AT&T, Verizon, Level3, Cogent, Savvis, etc make the most money from this industry.

Well, why would they need to work with the online adult industry? It's like any other industry online. It wouldn't make sense for Dell to start producing new line of servers catering to online porn or a communications company to lay down 'porn only' fiber across the world. All companies that make up the global communications market cater to the entire spectrum: from the one-man operation that began yesterday to the multi-gazillion dollar corporation like Playboy.
