Story 1-

I Owned a computer Store about 8 years ago... Had one customer that came in bought a new computer from me, So I showed her how to set it up when she got home, did a full walk though on it with her. She seems comfortable with it, so she left with it. Next day, she calls and tells me its broken. Since she lived about 30 miles away and she was coming into town anyways I told her to bring it with (just the computer...) so she did, we set it up again and it worked perfect... hmmm.. So she took it home a second time, again, called told me it was not working, So I offed to drive out to her place and see if I could find the problem. I got there, and it turns out she was only turning on the monitors power button... not the computers! I reached over and pushed the BIG button on the computer marked POWER and it hummed to life... she was a little red..... LOL.

Story 2.... Even better....

My Father owned a high end electronics shop, back in the mid 80's he put together a home sterio system as a demo of what could be done, the damn thing was over 10k. Now, he never expected to sell it, just use it in the store as a demo, but about that time the Government issues a huge payout to the local idians on the reservations... There were little indian kids running around town with literally hunderds of dollars clutched in thier hands... odd. But anyway, this Indian family comes in, see's this system and buys it on the spot. Same deal, My dad shows them how to use it blah blah blah, but the bring the system back a couple days later.. saying it does not work. So he hooks it all up in the store again, works fine. They take it home, and return a couple days later.. again saying it does not work. So he goes with them to thier house on the reservation to hook it up for them... There was no fucking electricity. I mean, NONE, not even an outlet built into the house! They thought they could just set this thing up and it would run on air? LOL. He refunded their money and explained that they needed to get power to thier home, and to use the money to maybe also get running water added.. Just odd.
