It may appear to be too high at first glance, but you have to factor in growth in revenue, traffic and higher ad payouts year after year. Plus buyers have their own search feed &/or higher parking revenue split and most likely will be hand-optimizing a better landing page.
i.e. here's the stats for one of the domains that just sold:
DOMAIN: DreamVacations.com (great for developing your own Travel site)
--[ UNIQUES ]------------------------
Summary: 2005 vs 2006 (01/01-05/31): +8.33% increase in traffic

2a) 2006 Avg Monthly Uniques: 1565
2b) 2005 Avg Monthly Uniques: 1460
3a) 2006 Avg Daily Uniques: 52

--[ REVENUE ]------------------------

--[ STATS ]------------------------

1a) 2006 CTR: 46.29%
1b) 2005 CTR: 38.64%

3a) 2006 RPM: $260.81
3b) 2005 RPM: $105.56
Once again, just for fun... 2007 Revenue Potential:
Percentage based growth: If growth curve continues at the historical rate of 165% growth on the year, then there is potential of reaching $35.83 average daily revenue which equals $13,077.95 per year.
sidenote: CareerSeeker.com had +286% increase in revenue from 2005 to 2006.
I broke it down for all bidders, I was asking for:

It is not required that you purchase both domains, here is the breakdown:
CareerSeeker.com ($10.24 x 365 = $3737) @ 9x-12x = $33633-$44844
DreamVacations.com ($13.52 x 365 = $4935) @ 9x-12x = $44415-$59220
Once again, pricing depends on how soon you can pay and if you buy both domains I'll give you a
substantial discount. I may consider selling them both for $50k, $60K, $70K, etc... just make a
serious offer... but if you lowball me, keep in mind, I'll be waiting for all offers to come in.

Both domains sold in one package for (over but around) $55,000. which is far less than the 9X minimum I had asked for... so it was Win/Win/Win all around.
