By the way, I read somewhere about that ripoff motherboard and cpu that the cpu was soldered to the motherboard LOL! I hope it's not in your case. If it is, I really don't know how you will be able to upgrade your cpu.

"I guess I should clarify a bit.
When the computer is booted it shows that the CPU is an AMD Duron 1200+ (that's what the BIOS says) but in Windows XP it says Duron 892Mhz.
I looked through the BIOS to see if it was a multiplier issue or wasn't set to 133Mhz bus speed and there is no way to change that. There isn't even a jumper to change on the board itself.
I looked through the manual that came with the board (if you call a folded double sided sheet a manual !!) and there is no jumper to set the FSB to 100 or 133MHz. Well there are 2 jumpers on the board 1 to clear the CMOS and another to set the IRQ and base address of the onboard sound.
