Why is it good for man?
As for the time they spend on themselves - it doesn't prevent them from studies, making their own careers e.t.c.
As for T-Shorts and jeans - that's only american way of life. Not European and Russian... or any else... Only americans can feel comfortable in the restaraunt in T-shirt and jeans, while everybody else are wearing smokings and evening dresses... It's just culture...
Besides if russian girls weren't doing all these things, this topic wouldn't have existed
As for good life they want - that's not actually for long. If you give russian girl this good life, she live a couple of years in it and then she'll get bored... She'll miss her friends for sure... She'll miss her nationals... She'll miss russians...
As for houses full of shit - they are not all full of shit. They have nice new houses. Besides they have great semi detached houses... Even better then in Europe and America...
