He doesn't interview people based on success or accolades, he interviews people based on who he (and others) do / will find interesting. If success breeds interest, as it often times does, then so be it; however it doesn't seem to be the central theme among his chosen candidates.
That is the essence, as well as the beauty of his interviews. It is what sets them apart from others and brands them with an original feel. There are tons of media networks conducting interviews, however, I am willing to bet that his are the most read (in concern with our specific portion of the industry).
With all due respect, Ramos is fairly young in terms of the industry. I wouldn't consider him a failure based on switching employment (or whatever the reason for your failure synopsis is). I am sure that with hard work, ambition and motivation, he will be just fine.
I don't intend this post to be interpreted as aggressive, just stating my opinion.
Looking forward to learning about Kenny. Nice to see his Soiree pictures making the cut
