I just restored my system to it's factory state, something I do once or twice a year to get back to basics, get rid of unneccessary bloat my system has accumulated, and get my system running at a faster speed.
So, I just reinstalled my Dreamweaver MX Suite, and I realized I've never even opened Fireworks. And I'm wondering if I really need to reinstall Photoshop.
This is what I do in PS:
I run a noise filter (Digital Gem) and a color filter if necessary (Digital SHO I believe) on my pics, then edit out any bad blemishes, then crop to the right size and save.
I figure out layouts, (using layers), slice them up, and then finish them in DW or GoLive (which I can't even find now, so I won't be using anymore until I can locate my damn disc).
Occassionally I create abutton or a banner or some kind of graphic like that.
Can Fireworks handle those tasks? If I can, and well, I can't see the advantage of having PS on here too, using up a lot of space and resources to run?
But I have zero experience with it, so what the heck do I know? Enlighten me, oh wise ones, lol!
Thanks.
